The Tumkur Ophthalmic Society, established by senior ophthalmologist in Tumkur in 2006, serves as a platform for the well-being and knowledge enhancement of ophthalmologists. Through regular Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions featuring experts in various subspecialties, case presentations by PGs and fellow ophthalmologists, as well as family gatherings and fun trips, the society fosters a sense of unity and professional development among its members.

Additionally, periodic larger state-level CME events help to expose and promote the latest advancements in the field of ophthalmology, furthering the society’s mission of serving the community with unity and excellence.

We the members of Tumakuru ophthalmologists committed to provide both preventive and curative eye care services to needy population at an accessible and affordable price especially for the rural, underprivileged sections of our society irrespective of their socio economic status.

We the ophthalmologists sow the seeds and nurture the young minds with dedication, commitment to eye care and honesty to provide quality care services to our citizens and also to excel in their academics to meet the global standards.

We work with the government and non government organization by co ordination and Co operation to provide eye health services along with other specialties of medical field.

Our website will reflect all the activities of our group, humanitarian services delivered, information regarding upcoming ventures and also measures taken to improve the skill and caliber of esteemed members through exchange of knowledge and wisdom.

Dear friends hopefully your grace and support made us to reach few milestones and will enlighten us to provide more vision improving methodology with the better use of available science and technology resources in future.
